Kitchen, Bath and Laundry Faucets

Brick Street handles faucet installation and replacement in Leesburg, VA, plus repairs for faucets that drip, leak at the base, spray unevenly or have lost pressure. If a cartridge, washer or O-ring has worn out, we repair it. If the body is corroded, parts are no longer made, or you simply want a new look, we install a replacement and connect it properly to your shutoffs and drain. Our licensed plumbers work in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and bar sinks. Call (240) 969-4911 to schedule, day or night.

Faucets fail slowly. A drip that starts as a few drops an hour becomes a steady stream, mineral scale stiffens handles, and a leak at the base can run down into the cabinet for months before anyone notices the swollen particleboard. Hard water, which is common in the region, speeds that wear by leaving scale on cartridges and aerators. A faucet swap also pairs well with other kitchen and bath work, from a new disposal to a remodel. For valves, pipes and other fixtures, see our plumbing repair services.

Where We Install and Repair Faucets

Each room brings its own set of connections.

Kitchen sinks

Single-handle, pull-down and pull-out sprayers, plus the dishwasher hookup and air gap that share the sink deck.

Bathroom vanities

Centerset, widespread and single-hole lavatory faucets, with new pop-up drains when the old ones no longer seal.

Tubs and showers

Tub spouts and shower valves where water pressure and temperature balance matter as much as looks.

Bathroom remodels

Relocated sinks, a new shower or a reconfigured layout means moving supply and drain piping before the faucet goes in.

Laundry and utility sinks

Hardworking faucets that see hot water, detergent and the occasional bucket fill. We install sturdy replacements.

SIGNS

Repair the Faucet or Replace It?

A persistent drip, no matter how hard you turn the handle, almost always comes from a worn seal or cartridge. In a ball-type faucet the springs and seats wear; in a cartridge faucet the cartridge itself fails. Either can usually be rebuilt if parts are available. Some symptoms push toward replacement. Water pooling around the base or under the sink often means a cracked body or failed internal seal. Banging or squealing when the tap opens can mean a loose washer or a pressure problem in the pipes, which we trace before blaming the faucet. Inconsistent flow can come from clogged aerators or from valves and pipe routing upstream. And a dated, inefficient model is a fair reason on its own: newer faucets use less water at the same feel, which makes a difference over years of daily use.

INSTALL DAY

How a Faucet Swap Goes

We start by shutting off the supply valves under the sink and testing that they actually close, because older multi-turn valves often seize or weep. If one is unreliable, we replace it while the water is off. The old faucet comes out, and the sink deck gets scraped clean of old putty and mineral crust so the new base seals flat. The new faucet is set and tightened from below, then connected with new braided supply lines. On bathroom sinks, the pop-up drain is replaced at the same time when it came with the faucet. We flush the lines before the aerator goes on, so debris does not lodge in it, then run hot and cold and check every joint under the cabinet.

Fantastic service - bought a home with a very old hot water heater, and Brick Street’s quote came out to be substantially less than the other plumbers I spoke with. No compromise on service for the price, though - Mary was incredibly responsive and friendly when it came to scheduling a time to install the new water heater, and Tylerr did an outstanding job getting the water heater set up and running. Overall very easy to work with, reasonably priced, and professional!

I requested an estimate through Home Depot, and they referred me to Brick Street Plumbing. Water Heaters, From beginning to end, my experience was excellent! Brian came to my home, carefully explained the different options available, and walked me through the entire installation process. He was very professional, knowledgeable, patient, and always available to answer my questions. Communication with Brian was outstanding throughout the entire project. One of the best parts of the installation was that they were able to relocate my water heater into an unused space in my basement. This made the entire HVAC area much more spacious, organized, and accessible. I am extremely happy with how everything turned out! Update 10/2/2026 The manager got in touch with us and promptly sent out a service technician that was able to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot the issue with our thermostat. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We got our AC replaced by Brick Street through Home Depot. After a week our AC wasn't working so we had to put in a service call. They came out and fixed it. Then our heating wasn't working and we put in a service call to have a tech come out to and troubleshoot but their HVAC department has been non responsive via email or voice mail. We are not able to get in contact with them at all. Will not be doing business with this company again. Very poor customer service.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy my own faucet and have a plumber install it?
Yes, we install customer-supplied faucets all the time. Before buying, count the holes in your sink or countertop and check whether the new faucet needs one, two, three or four, or plan on a deck plate to cover extras. Also confirm the spout reach suits the sink. We bring new supply lines and check the shutoff valves, since old ones often fail when turned.
Why is my kitchen faucet leaking at the base?
A leak at the base of a kitchen faucet usually means the O-rings around the spout have worn out, which is common on swivel and pull-down models. On some faucets the cartridge seal is the culprit instead. Replacing the O-rings or cartridge often fixes it. If the body is cracked or corroded, replacement is the better path, and we check under the sink for water damage either way.
Why does my faucet have low water pressure?
If one faucet is weak and the others are fine, start with the aerator: unscrew the tip and rinse out the sediment and scale. A clogged cartridge or a partly closed shutoff under the sink can also choke flow. If every faucet in the house is weak, the cause is upstream, such as an old galvanized supply line, a pressure regulator or a leak, and we trace it from there.
How long does it take to replace a bathroom faucet?
A straightforward bathroom faucet swap typically takes a plumber an hour or two, including removing the old fixture, cleaning the sink deck, setting the new faucet and drain, connecting supply lines and testing for leaks. Corroded nuts, seized shutoff valves or a vanity that needs piping changes add time. We let you know up front if we find something that changes the scope.
